Mike Hinchey is Professor of Software Engineering at University of Limerick, Ireland. Prior to joining Lero, Professor Hinchey was Director of the NASA Software Engineering Laboratory; he continues to serve as a NASA Expert. In 2009 he was awarded NASA's Kerley Award as Innovator of the Year. Hinchey holds a B.Sc. in Computer Systems from University of Limerick, an M.Sc. in Computation from University of Oxford and a PhD in Computer Science from University of Cambridge. The author/editor of more than 15 books and over 200 articles on various aspects of Software Engineering, at various times Hinchey previously held positions as Full Professor in Australia, UK, Sweden and USA. He is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Engineering Professional, Chartered Mathematician and Charted Information Technology Professional, as well as a Fellow of the IET, British Computer Society and Irish Computer Society. He is President of IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) and Vice-Chair (and Chair-Elect) of IEEE UK & Ireland section. He is also Editor-in-Chief of Innovations in Systems and Software Engineering: a NASA Journal and Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society.
ProfileXin-She Yang obtained his DPhil in Applied Mathematics from the University of Oxford. He then worked at Cambridge University and National Physical Laboratory (UK) as a Senior Research Scientist. Now he is Reader in Modelling and Optimization at Middlesex University, an elected Bye-Fellow at Cambridge University and Adjunct Professor at Reykjavik University (Iceland). He is the chair of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management. He is on the list of both 2016 and 2017 Clarivate Analytics/Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers. His mail interests include applied mathematics, algorithm development, computational intelligence, engineering optimization, mathematical modelling, optimization and swarm intelligence.
ProfileShe is the Executive Dean for the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at the Namibia University of Science and Technology formerly known as Polytechnic of Namibia. I am a native of Namibia.
She is an HCI researcher and my research interests span Social Networks, Gender and E-Participation. She is passionate about user- and community-centered HCI research and design. In this connection, She started the ACM professional chapter and ACM SIGCHI chapter in my country. In 2016, She co-chaired the inaugural Africa Human Computer Interaction Conference (AfriCHI'16) which was organized in-cooperation with ACM SIGCHI and held in Nairobi Kenya. She also chaired the International Culture and Computer Science Conference 2016 which was also organized in-cooperation with ACM SIGCHI and held in Windhoek, Namibia. She also works on several initiatives to attract, support and retain women in Computing. One example of such initiatives is the Namibia Women in Computing Society. She was featured as one of 20 prominent personalities in Who's Who Namibia 2016/2017.
She completed my PhD in HCI at Iowa State University on an International Fulbright Science and Technology Award and a Schlumberger Faculty for the Future Women in Science award. In 2012, She was Google Anita Borg Scholar (now Google Women Techmakers) in the United States.
ProfileMilan Tuba was born in Lucani in 1952. Completed primary and secondary education in Osijek. He received BS in Mathematics, MS in Mathematics, MS in Computer Science, MPh in Computer Science, PhD in Computer Science from University of Belgrade and New York University.
From 1983 to 1994 he was in the USA first as a graduate student as well as teaching and research assistant at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University and later as assistant professor of Electrical Engineering at Cooper Union Graduate School of Engineering, New York. During that time, he was the founder and director of Microprocessor Lab and VLSI Lab, leader of scientific projects and supervisor of many theses.
Since returning from the USA in 1994, he has been a participant in the scientific projects of the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia, currently on the project Project III-44006. He was teaching more than 20 graduate and undergraduate courses, from VLSI Design and Computer Architecture to Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Image Processing, Calculus and Queuing Theory. His research interests include mathematical, queuing theory and heuristic optimizations applied to computer networks, image processing and combinatorial problems. Currently, mentor in a group of five students working in the field of heuristic optimization methods based on the intelligence of swarms. He is the author of more than 150 scientific papers and a monograph.
Mr Tuba held ten plenary lectures at conferences at Harvard, Cambridge, Moscow, Paris and Istanbul. He is also a coeditor, a member of the editorial board, scientific committee member or a reviewer for several international journals and conferences. Member of international and scientific organizations: ACM, IEEE, AMS, SIAM and FNA.
ProfileNiko Phillips have a vast experience of more than 20 years currently heading the International Division at Active Learning and Former Group Operations Director for BSC Group, Niko Phillips, has been announced as the new Group Director - International at Activate Learning. Niko has a background in international education, with sixteen years’ experience working as a teacher, trainer, academic director and school leader across geographical locations including South East Asia, Africa and Europe. ProfileSwagatam Das received the B. E. Tel. E., M. E. Tel. E (Control Engineering specialization) and Ph. D. degrees, all from Jadavpur University, India, in 2003, 2005, and 2009 respectively. Swagatam Das is currently serving as an associate professor at the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India. His research interests include evolutionary computing, pattern recognition, multi-agent systems, and wireless communication. Dr. Das has published one research monograph, one edited volume, and more than 200 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He is the founding co-editor-in-chief of Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, an international journal from Elsevier. He has also served as or is serving as the associate editors of the IEEE Trans. on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, IEEE Access, Neurocomputing (Elsevier), Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (Elsevier), and Information Sciences (Elsevier). He is an editorial board member of Progress in Artificial Intelligence (Springer), PeerJ Computer Science, International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing, and International Journal of Adaptive and Autonomous Communication Systems. Dr. Das has 14000+ Google Scholar citations and an H-index of 56 till date.He is the recipient of the 2012 Young Engineer Award from the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).
He is also the recipient of the 2015 Thomson Reuters Research Excellence India Citation Award as the highest cited researcher from India in Engineering and Computer Science category between 2010 to 2014.

Dr. Suresh Chandra Satapathy is is currently Professor at KIIT and former Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS), Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and his Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, Odisha. He has more than 27 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests include machine learning, data mining, swarm intelligence studies and their applications to engineering. He has more than 98 publications to his credit in various reputed international journals and conference proceedings. He has edited many volumes from Springer AISC and LNCS in the past. In addition to serving on the editorial board of several international journals, he is a senior member of the IEEE and a Life Member of the Computer Society of India, where he is the National Chairman of Division-V (Education and Research).

Jyotsna Kumar Mandal received M. Tech. from Department of Computer Science, University of Calcutta, India and Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, India in the field of Data Compression and Error Correction Techniques. He is Professor in Computer Science and Engineering, Director, IQAC, Former Dean, FETM, University of Kalyani. Prof. Mandal has 29 years of teaching and research experience. He is working in the field of Network Security, Steganography, Image Processing, Wireless and Sensor Networks. He has guided 17 PhD scholars, published six books, and published more than 360 papers including 148 publications in various International journals, and edited 19 volumes as volume editor from Science Direct, Springer, CSI, etc.

ProfileSimon Fong graduated from La Trobe University, Australia, with a 1st Class Honours BEng. Computer Systems degree and a PhD. Computer Science degree in 1993 and 1998 respectively. Simon is now working as an Associate Professor at the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Macau. He is also one of the founding members of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Research Group in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Prior to his academic career, Simon took up various managerial and technical posts, such as systems engineer, IT consultant and e-bommerce director in Australia and Asia. Dr. Fong has published over 300 international conference and peer-reviewed journal papers, mostly in the areas of data mining and optimization algorithms.

ProfileSheng-Lung Peng received the Ph.D. degree in the National Tsing Hua University. He has been the professor since 2015 in the Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering, National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan, where he is also the director of Library and Information Center. His research interests focus on Computer Algorithms, Graph Theory and Bioinformatics. He has published more than 30 papers in famous journals, some of which are SCI, SSCI and EI indexed.
ProfileDharm Singh Jat received his degree Master of Engineering and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering fromprestigious universities in India. He is a Professor (Computer Science) of Namibia's University of Science and Technology. From 1990 to 2014, he was with College of Technology and Engineering, MPUAT, Udaipur, India and has more than 27 years' academic experience. He was instrumental in the setting up of MPUAT Intranet.
He has given several Guest Lecturer/Invited talk at various prestigious conferences 45th Annual National Convention of Computer Society of India (2010), 26th Indian Engineering Congress at Bangalore (2011) and various ACM conferences as ACM Speaker. Gagandeep Singh is the Editorial Manager (S&T) and Senior Editor for Engineering and Environmental Sciences in CRC Press. He is responsible for the editorial team based in India and acquisitions program in engineering for India and Australia. He has acquired more than 250 titles in last seven years or so.
